As a gemologist, Coralyn has a distinct love for all gems and stones, which is reflected in both fashion and
fine jewelry.
She hand-crafts her fashion jewelry out of sterling silver, copper, and various base-metals,
utilizing fine quality gemstone beads and pearls of all shapes and sizes. In fact, the more unusual the stone and shape
the more interesting (unique) the beads are. Fashion pieces include both the transparent gems such as amethyst, peridot, citrine, garnet, clear quartz, chalcedonies,
and occassionally a few rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and diamonds (depending on the piece), just to name a few. The
opaque gemstones are extensively used, such as tiger eye, lapis, jaspers, and agates. Swarovski crystals, freshwater
pearls, and seed beads are used as color and texture accents, as well as wire-wrapping and textured metal beads.
For fine jewelry, Coralyn creates her own beaded
designs. All other fine and high-end fine jewelry designs are crafted by master jewelers, utilizing
gems Coralyn has personally selected for fine quality and uniqueness.

her favorite stone. So, pictured here is a necklace of rough diamonds, approximately 100 carats, with 14K
white gold accent beads and a platinum clasp. Rough diamonds are of a quality that cannot be faceted for use in jewelry.

quartz and blue topaz beads. Such clearity in beads is rare. The quartzes include amethyst (both light and medium
